[http://www.flickr.com/photos/bats1234/], if it has been that long, you won't even recognize it. start planning your trip now while the resorts are all 1/2 off!!
by the way, thanks
a very good night shot, but there are a lot of details that make me enjoy the lighting but not the photo. the hotels should dominate and the freeway seems to.

This is a much stronger image than the previous shot you posted. Unlike many others I want the pyramid pushed further to the left and eliminate that 1/2 of a building that adds nothing to the composition. It's tough but I'm gonna hold out for better because I think you can.

Cheers.
i've never been a fan of this kind of white balance for night shots. parts of the image are also overexposed (like street sign)

That's a superb picture showing great hotels incl. the Luxor, The Hotel and The Mandalay Bay Hotel, plus the fantastic night lights of Las Vegas! Love the beam and the freeway activity! Let's face it Las Vegas is a busy city, that's only to right to show the beauty of the casinos with the beauty of the activity, which is on the roads here! As many american cities, Las Vegas is still a car city and this is shown rather good here, when somebody does not like the picture, please simply look at another! Thanks!!!!! THE PIC ROCKS!!!!!
Interesting... up for vote now? I think that although it's my favorite, you do need to tweak the horizon + breathing room as previously mentioned...
I feel like that I'm missing the game here. Haven't posted anything to the group for a while because all involve people in it and per my new policy I won't subject humans to scrutiny... :)
delete5 - yes it remains my fave, but I think that my standards for DMU is higher than my fave standards... weird huh!!!!
i like the light trails and i like the pyramid -- when i first saw it, i thought i'd like to see the trails more head on and the pyramid less towards the edge. i realize it's probably not possible, but imagewise, that's what this is lacking.

Most impressive are the lines in the background - top left corner needs breathing room. It's possibly the 'almost horizontal but not quite' lines of the highway that is bothering me, I think. Since the sky is mostly dark, I think that if you extend it further up and leave it black it might just as well balance the overall compostion?
Appreciate it See-Ming. I could work with the horizon a bit, but with Vegas being in a valley, the topography is not the most uniform but I will definitely see what happens with it
This on the other hand is *awesome*!!! Faved + FFFFound - but I am still a bit bothered by the framing - it needs room to breathe IMHO. Also rotating to fix the horizon would be nice.
I realize that this is not up for vote, but I just thought that I would give you my two cents.
